Mr. Cole began studying international law, economics, and negotiations while a student at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Part of his training included a year abroad where he acted as a pro bono consultant for several Eastern European enterprises attempting to expand trade with the West. Upon his return to the States, Mr. Cole continued studying negotiations and international business at Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business where he earned his MBA in 1994. He subsequently enjoyed a successful ten-year career as an information technology consultant with engagements at several Fortune 500 companies culminating with his role as a Chief Information Officer for a travel company. In 2004, Mr. Cole enrolled in law school where he was distinguished by obtaining a Dean’s Recognition Scholarship, the “book award” (highest grade) for Torts, and positions as a both an academic research assistant and as an intern with a Federal Magistrate Judge. He has since worked in forensic investigations as an electronic discovery specialist for companies such as Kroll Ontrack and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and continues to be involved with cutting edge technologies.Today, Mr. Cole uses his years of experience in business and negotiations to focus his legal practice on Family Law, Personal Injury, Business / Contracts, and Appellate matters. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Florida, and Minnesota and resides in Mt. Juliet, TN.
